OK so im at my wits end with this car at this point. im so angry i cant even form a cohesive post so ill just outline whats going on - both my own and autozones code readers give errors p0300 and p0301 which it turns out indicate multiple misfires and cylinder 1 misfires respectively. -When driving uphill, or in drive at an idle You can feel a very distinct stutter -when getting above 50 or so the engine light blinks, its solid yellow otherwise -rarely the oil light blinks briefly -All spark plugs are new -Replaced two front 02 Sensors today on the advice of several people, it runs worse now. I am both mentally and financially drained trying to fix this thing and its time i start getting a wide array of opinions. please help meeee what else could it be? what is the likelihood of the problem going away after i replace the two rear 02 sensors? Someone mentioned a bad fuel injector being the possible culprit, how likely is this?

So far to date I haven't seen an O2 sensor cause a misfire under load. Usually what system causes misfiring under load is the ignition system breaking down. You have another cylinder(s) misfiring besides cylinder #1 to give you the P0300 code. The only way to see the misfire history is with an enhanced scan tool. Since you know that cylinder 1 is popping up, you can swap cylinder 1 coil with another coil to see if the misfire moves. If it moves, you probably have a faulty coil. i tried that earlier, right after posting this in fact to no avail, i also tried moving the plug in said cylinder. my next step is to try to switch out the wires to see if it travels

That's evidence to us that you are either giving us some wrong info on the car or you are more lost than you think. That engine doesn't have any plug wires. You might want to double check the engine size and year. It's supposed to have 6 coils. The engines are equipped with a coil on plug ignition system. Each cylinder has a dedicated coil that sits atop each plug. No secondary wires are required and connection from the coil to plug is made with a boot that is attached to the coil. If you're talking about the 2wire plug that plugs into the coils you can not just plug the plugs into any coil you want. -------------------------------------------------------- Your only as good as your tools!

i know that, i meant completely moving the wires, not just the coil end. what are the odds that this could be a fuel injector?

i have noticed a new symptom, it idles around 700 usually, but ocasionally it drops to around 400 and comes really close to stalling before going back up to 700, it usually only lasts a few seconds. it had some trouble getting up to speed briefly last night

The best thing i think you can do at this point is save your self money in the long run and take it in for a diagnoses, then if you want to fix the actually problem you can. That is what i would do if i were you. -------------------------------------------------------- Your only as good as your tools!
