2004 pontiac grand prix gtp Sign In

Hi, i wanted to know if anyone could help me out with some good advice or opinion.. I have a gtp model 162k.I've had it since 130k. I had an head-gasket leak around 150k & use Blue devil sealant.. Since then the only problem I've had was coolant burning out of the reservoir (Not leaking).. Now the coolant is boiling & overflowing. The reservoir is empty within 30mins. There is coolant in the radiator... Any suggestions??

I take it you had an external leak and use that sealer outside which got you by for that somehow! Coolant may not boiling over but rather combustion gasses are putting vapors into cooling system blowing it out at reservoir leaving air in rest of system which if not soon will overheat and need the real job done with
head sent out to machine shop for inspection, repair or declare it unfixable is what I think you are experiencing.

You can test for combustion gasses in coolant reservoir/recovery tank to help with other observations and tests to verify this,

You hsave a blown head gasket or cracked head. Fix it right. There is no such thing as "mechanic in a can".
