2005 Dodge Ram 1500 4.7L hesitates Sign In

I have a Dodge Ram 2005 1500 with the 4.7L v8. It only has 26k miles on it. It started to have a hesitation issue about a year ago. Ill start it in the morning and back down my driveway with no issues. When inshift it into drive from reverse, it hesitates. The rpms drop very low. The rpms do return to normal once i start moving but sometimes it does stall. It also does a similar thing when im driving and come to a stop where the rpms will drop lower than they are supposed to and then when they rise up again, the vehicle jumps slightly forwsrd.
I just replaced the idle air control valve but the issue is still present. I have also hooked up a scan tool and there arent any sensors lacking voltage so Really stumped here, any suggestions would definitely help.

Where there any trouble codes stored?

Have you tried cleaning the throttle body bore and throttle valve?

Take the air duct off, so you can get to the throttle body. Then take some carb cleaner on a rag and wipe down the inside of the throttle bore. You can also use an old tooth brush. Clean out the carbon. It is also good to remove the idle air control valve and use a pipe cleaner or equivalent to clean out the pintle bore.

I wouldn't re-use the toothbrush though.

That must be the Meth clinic Nick was talking about.

Just cleaned out throttle body. Wasn't that dirty. Still hesitates and stumbles. I did use air intake cleaner, not carb cleaner.

Read container as it should really be the same stuff. The name "carb cleaner" just stuck. Essentially a spray formulation of lacquer thinner or close,

You stated you had a scanner on it. Were you monitoring the data stream when the problem was occurring? Some scanners can record the data stream, so you can get data stream information when the problem is occurring. Then you can go back and review the data to see if there is anything odd.
