2007 Chevy Cobalt LS Engine Power Reduced Sign In

I bought this car from a local mechanic about 2 weeks ago. It's a 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt LS 2.2L V4 with 208,000 miles. About 20 miles off the lot, pulling into my house, the check engine light came on and "Engine Power Reduced" displayed on the screen on the dash. It started to sputter and rev between 1k-1.7k rpms while parked. It now comes on most times I start the car, and when I brake and stop. It causes the car to power down and shake and sputter greatly. Sometimes turning the car off and waiting a few minutes fixes it temporarily, but about 3 times that's caused "Engine Disabled" to flash and the car won't start. I have to reset the battery in this case. More recently, the car accelerates itself, getting up to about 25mph without my touching the pedal, it lurches and jumps, and when "Engine Power Reduced" comes on (Almost every time I drive it,) it shakes like It's in an earthquake. An acrid burning fumey smell also permeates the car. It displays codes P2135, P1516, and P0122. The throttle body has been replaced twice. I'm 18, spent all of my money on this car and am desperate for help. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

"Off the lot, 20 miles?"
A used car dealer? Take it back.
You've reset it now this "acrid odor" goes thru the car OMG quit driving it!
I don't know how any codes are going to matter if there's some engine fire, wiring fire of ferocious spot overheating is found, fixed new to you why are you touching it?

Tom
PS: Can't "dealer" sell such cars if they can where you are something that you bought it as a "known problem to fix" or "As is" status if allowed?

The car is having a problem with the electronic throttle system. I suspect you will need a new throttle body, complete with actuator and TPS.
