I have a 83 6.2 Diesel in a 83 K5 blazer . Vehicle has over 200,000 miles on it with automatic . The other day I replaced the head gaskets when I did some head work on them . I took the car out and drove it and everything was great . Now I bring the car home and park it and I hear bubbling . I took a look and water is boiling out of the radiator and it's goin into the overflow bottle .Now my temp gauge said it was at 170 degrees . I figured excess coolant . Got the water level down took the rig out again and the heaters go cold then hot . Bring it back home and it boils out of the radiator again and no over heating . Lots of pressure on system . Could problem be a thermostat ? Thanks

The coolant is not completely full yet. It still has air pockets in the system. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
