I was driving home from phoenix going up a mountain when i lost power. Everything was good, oil pressure, coolant, temperature, everything. The truck was still running when i pulled over. I turned it off and let it sit for a couple minutes. I climbed under and there was no fluids on the ground. When i tried to start it, it reved but didn't turn over, so we bought ethanol and sprayed the carb, no change. Any idea what could be wrong?

It reved (cranked) but didn't turn over (start) So we bought ethanol (ether/starting fluid) and sprayed the carb.... Don't ask................... Like DS said,,,,,,check for spark and see what ya got.........

How do you see Ethanol but read ether? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
