hey there i have a 93 dodge intrepid 3.5 L with 281,000 km on it and she has no spark. The things i have done are:checked the timing belt for proper setting, it's ok,checked for signal feed to and from the cam sensor seems ok, i have a pulsed feed on all 4 wires at the coil pac while cranking, and i checked all the fuses and links, so i changed the coil and still no spark, then i noticed that the pulse at the coil was the same pulse as the auto shutdown relay, now i am confused as why the shutdown relay would be tripping and why i still have no spark. i am a 4th year apprentice from way back and i try to fix my own stuff but i guess i just don't have the tooling and knowledge to get this one. some help on this would be a great help thanks in advance bob_kat.

take a voltmeter and disconnect the coilpack connector and see if you have voltage to B+ terminal of connector and turn key to on position and from on position to crank position and note voltage. You should have battery voltage for 1 second when key is turned to on position and also while cranking engine. Is this what you have?If not may be a problem with the crankshaft position or camshaft position sensor.Have you checked voltage and ground to both camshaft position and crankshaft position sensors?Have you checked if signal is getting to the computer for each of these?
