The Escort turns over, but no spark is getting to the plugs...any ideas of what may be the culprit...there is gas in the system!

First - do you best not to flood out the car. On some larger Fords that I'm more familiar with the relay to ECM. If marked and the same part # swap it with the A/C relay if you have it and see what happens. If you have a distributor in a '94 the grey thing on the side is common and requires a cheap tool to remove and you may have to re-do the timing if you do that as you may not get it out without turning distributor. Use nail polish or light touch-up paint to put it back as close as you can if you go there and it will run but need tweeking back to exact. If the relay works get a spare - they are cheap even at dealerships. Duh - put the new one at the ecm and the A/C one back. Good luck, it could be more but let us know how you are making out, T
