94' Nissan Altima Sign In

1994
Nissan
Altima

I was having a rough idle in my car, it sounded like it wasn't firing properly so I replaced my spark plugs and my spark plug wire set. The issue was still there so I replaced the rotor and distributor cap. The issue was still there. Then my car died while I was driving it. Later I found out that the rotor shot off in the distributor cap and was ruined along with the distributor cap. I replaced both again and there appears to be no damage done to the distributor but the car still won't start. I have fuel and a spark so I thought it might be a timing issue and that maybe the timing chain slipped or was damaged, but after checking the chain looks good as new and is still tight. What else might be my problem?

I belive that the altima is 3.0L V6 if so there is a optical disk in the distributor check the make sure the led under it is not damaged or if the holes in the disk are not plugged.
