Hey guys, I posted about a week ago how my car was experiencing problems. The problems were lack of power (stalling occasionally) and shaking heavily. So we figured out one problem which was the timing. The previous owner had apparently left the tensioner pin in when he changed the water pump. So I had my mechanic reset the time but the shaking problem still happens. Its weird because the shaking goes away once the car gets going but when still in all gears it does something a little different. In park it shakes bad, in drive, 1 and 2 it shakes a little less but when I put it in neutral it shakes like crazy worse then the 2 before. And when I put it in reverse it seems like it stalls out. We ran compression on it and it was good 150 psi. my mechanic thinks it might be a bad cam sensor. Anyone have any other ideas what to look for?

Not really a lot of info to go off of... Just have to start with the basics. Those are the easiest to get a tooth off. If i get one in that the belts been replaced that's the 1st thing I look at.... A vacuum gauge would tell it all....Low & shaky & it's off... It's hard to get the wires crossed on those but not impossible..I would check that... If the cam sensor is coding & has a dirty pattern then its possible but I wouldn't replace it just because.. Could be a vacuum leak....the list is endless If it's running that bad where it's dying in rev then something is missing or off gotta find that 1st & then go from there
