97 ford E250 4.2 Sign In

180,000 miles has a rough idle when in gear and if I use the A/C it cuts the power of the engine in half. new ford short block at 92000 mi.
runs terrible in stop an go traffic but fine 35 mph plus check engine light is not on.

Could have a vacuum leak, but that should set some sort of lean code. Does the check engine light bulb check when you turn the ignition on?

Really need to look at some data stream information to get some clues as to what is happening. You might need to take it to a shop.

Side note: If using A/C takes out that much power disable it now till you find the first problem as it shouldn't be taking out that much power and will be on this list of things to correct later,
