P0440 is an EVAP (evaporative emissions system) code; the PCM has ran an EVAP integrity leak test and found that the system is leaking fuel vapor to the atmosphere. This could be as small a leak as a pinhole somewhere in the system, the gas cap not being installed correctly or a vent solenoid stuck open. Likely not your running issue, unless it was a large leak but the engine would likely continue to run rough all the time P0306 is number 6 cylinder misfire detected; the PCM has the ability to tell if a cylinder in not running consistently. A misfire can be cause by a number of things from a bad spark plug, ignition wire, dirty injector, failing injector, engine mechanical issue and the list could go on and on. I would begin with ensuring that all basic tune-up parts were in order and go from there for the rough running. The EVAP leak will take some specific tests and equipment to find the root cause; after saying that, check your gas cap make sure it’s on and tight. Dan. Canadian "EH"
