I have a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro with 85000 miles. The car would have a hard time starting after i drove for a while and the engine was hot. Started out as after a couple minutes it would start back up and progressively took longer and longer to start. Car finally wont start. I replaced all the spark plugs 5000 miles ago with the factory specified ACDelco plugs. New battery. I also replaced a bad coil pack when I replaced my plugs.

Quote you ">The car would have a hard time starting after i drove for a while and the engine was hot.<" ? By "hot" you mean you continue to run it at all? What does that comment mean? Warmed up is one thing, hot is another. Nothing is going to work properly if hot up to damage. Fuel boils will stop the show. Can't be sure but need it to maintain normal temps when running all the time or fix that in time or problems are going to happen, damage likely comes after neglect of the original problem. IDK, begin by testing fuel pressure then on to all fuel delivery hard to know now if it's so hot fuel is just vapor in the system till it cools down. Guess is multiple problems exist now basically have to check all engine functions at the time it's NOT starting. Codes may help but may be misleading to the real fix beware of that and parts tossing without testing items, T

Sorry not hot. Normal operating temp, I should've specified. It is not overheating and I have the correct amount of coolant.

OK - That changes things totally from red hot or something. Still now it's an all crank no start situation you need to go thru what is missing WHILE is isn't starting. Will post the link it's already written at this site step by step how to approach that. Still codes if possible and fuel pressure now be ready to hook up and or if possible leave it not so sure you have adequate room depending on which engine and other isn't safe by nature of doing that unless fully aware of what you are doing. Here's the link at this site what to do and post results if need be >> http://autoforums.carjunky.com/...LL_NOT_START_P75655/ << That's what about anyone would have to do. Good luck, T

When you say, it's not starting..... Is the engine cranking over at a normal speed and just not starting or is the engine cranking over very slow now and not starting?

The engine will crank once and shut off. I get a service stabilitrak message on my screen. Just got starter and alternator tested. Both are good.

Check for a security light (LED) flashing when this happens. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
