Hey I have an 88 Chrysler Daytona Shelby Z 2.2L. I just rebuilt the engine about 2,000 km. ago, but I am still getting allot of blow by... Enough that it pushes oil out of my crankcase ventilation filter... And after accelerating and I let off, there is a cloud of blue smoke behind me... I'm thinking that if my rings haven't seated properly, maybe oil get sucked in the combustion chambers when I let off (when vaccum is created)... How long does it take for rings to seat properly? It was bored out 1 mm over and oversized pistons and rings installed to match...The crosshatch was done professionally, so I don't understand why it is doing this... I also have about 20 PSI less pressure in 2 of the cylinders... Any ideas?
