Cylinder misfire Sign In

2009 Dodge Charger 5.7. Hemi. We did a complete cylinder head replacement. Have 120 psi on all cylinders. #3 still misfiring. Possible causes?

Re: Cylinder misfire Sign In

OK only 1 code - gotta ask you did use a SCANNER?

A misfire cam be -
ignition - spark - be sure they are firing, nice snapping blue spark... could try swapping #3 coil with #4 see if code remains #3 or moves to #4.
Fuel - injector issue - clogged, no pulsing, or leaking inj. - How does #3 plug look, black, wet, dry, tan.Fuel fuel pressure leak down KOEO.

next suspects - BUT confirm the above- they are more likely
Mechanical - compression or vacuum - you have comp - use oold spray trick for a vacuum leak.i

Caught up with just that borderline for an engine to run at all.

Are you sure that's accurate for compression? Full test done properly or how did you get that #?

How much did it come up with a wet test on each?

This alone doesn't add up. I don't think I've ever seen all cylinders read the exact same compression and IMO that's too low if correct and still whatever is causing one cylinder not to fire to find and fix
