I HAVE A 1994 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE ,5.0 LITER ,OVER 250,000 MILES . CLEANED GAS TANK OUT,REPLACED FUEL PUMP & FUEL FILTER ,CHANGED OIL & FILTER ,PUT STOP LEAK IN RADIATOR. HAS BEEN STARTING & RUNNING FINE TILL THE OTHER DAY WHEN IT STARTED UP & RAN FOR A FEW SECONDS THEN STOPPED & THATS ALL IT'LL DO. IT WON'T IDILE OR KEEP RUNNING WHEN I PUMP ACCEL. NEED TO KNOW WHAT TO CHECK , TO FIX PROBLEM.

Re: ENGINE WON'T STAY RUNNING Sign In

Start by checking fuel pressure with a test gauge and checking for spark at the coil and after the plug wires. See what you have missing.

PUT STOP LEAK IN RADIATOR

That was a mistake, although nothing to do with your current problem.
