I have a 1991 3.1. V6 cheverolt Corsica that cuts out while running. I have replaced the fuel filter , plugs and wires, coil packs, o2 sensor, coolant temperature sensor and have made sure the fuel pressure is fine. My symptoms are that it runs normally after the enginehas had time to cool down but upon getting warm it will cut out and smell like gas . It almost sounds like a misfire but then it will run normally after awhile. My last two ideas are the TPS or ignition module. Any thoughts?

One thought ... Possibly an ECM (computer) problem, saw a lot of them on these years back in the day. You can try doing a 'Tap Test" on the ECM... Tap on the top of the ECM....WITH YOUR FINGERTIPS ONLY, NO FISTS,PALMS OR TOOLS..YOU COULD DAMAGE AN ECM IF ITS NOT THE FAULT AND NEVER TAP ON THE BOTTOM OF IT! TOP IS THE SIDE WITH THE PROM AND/OR STICKER AFFIXED TO IT. AGAIN,Lightly tap the ECM and see if you can duplicate the concern......
