Engine stalls while driving 1989 Daytona "Turbo" Sign In

My 1989 Dodge Daytona Shelby Turbo 2.5 starts up fine, but over the last week it stalls while driving! stalls at 30mph or at 55 mph or when I try and leave from a stop light.
I have replaced spark plugs, cap & rotor, inspected vacuum lines and all seems fine. I did however replace muffler in the winter (not OEM) I found in my car manual that if i didn't have enough back pressure from exhaust that I could have trouble with my engine. I am at a lost to what the problem could be.
Should I replace the coil? I bought an EGR replacement value, but I could not find the old EGR on my engine "yes I must be dumb!!! The car only has 77,000 miles on it
Please help
