Engine surging Sign In

I have a 94 GMC truck, 5.7 litre with TBI throttle body. I replaced the fuel pump about two months ago along with a few sensors, oxygen, AIC control valve, map sensor. Plugs, Rotor & cap.

Just recently it started surging when I am at cruising speed and when under load if you let off the gas it seems to not idle down smoothly. Only seems to surge from about 30 kmh to around 70 kmh when holding it steady at one speed. Could it be the regulator that is going, lots of power, idles smoothly in park and good at highway speeds. This one is dumb founding me, any help would be appreciated..

Try a short drive with EGR valve disconnected.

Re: Engine surging Sign In

Would the EGR valve make it surge, if I take it for a drive with it disconnected and it runs okay, I take it new EGR valve would be my problem?
