Can you give us some more information? Any repairs done to it recently before this started? Have you replaced or fixed anything in an attempt to solve your problem? Check engine light on? Any codes stored? If so, what are the numbers. The more information you can give us the better we can help you out. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

When you state it won't stay running, does that mean it starts and then stalls? Will it keep running if you give it gas? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

There was another post in here previously that disappeared for some reason where the individual recommended that you contact the shop that did the previous work to it. I agree with that poster's advice. Something could have happened with the timing of the engine. It is true if they are a tooth off they will run bad or start and stall as yours does. There is actually a case study video that us techs use for training that has a Honda that was tooth of on the belt. You may not understand how they are diagnosing it, but if you watch the first few minutes of the video you can watch the symptoms to see if you have a similar issue, if you like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i6x31RU1S_I Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
