I have a 2011 GMC Terrain SLE 2.4L, 4 cylinder. The Reduced Engine Power and Stabili Track warnings started, had it scanned and it was throwing the P2135 Throttle Position Sensor failure code. Replaced the entire throttle body since GMC decided not to make the sensor separately for the Terrain.. Performed the relearn, and now the warning light is still on. During the relearn and after, the car does fine accelerating and decelerating rapidly for long distances, with no warnings besides the constant check engine light. When it first cranks, it idles fine and quietly. After starting to drive it any at all, it will stall out at stops. Every single time. Also, it seems the code will trigger again if I go a constant speed between 30-40 (45-50 seems fine, oddly) for a period longer than say five minutes. However, you can alternate through from 50 down to 20 and back up every 2-3 minutes or so and it's fine (like during the relearn). I have no idea what could be the issue at this point. I was assuming if the code would still throw, then it would be a wiring issue... but this seems like something else is going on. Any ideas? Suggestions?

Is it the same code you are getting? If it is then I would say either defective throttle body or wiring issue. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
