2003 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD 4.7L Engine 117,000 Miles I have replaced the spark plugs, coil packs, idle air control valve. My truck will stall mainly when I start it up for the first time in the day. It idles rough at stop lights and intermittently hesitates on acceleration. I suspect the TPS but I inspected it and it looked fine on the outside. I have been unsuccessful thus far, please assist! Thanks. Also the fuel economy has been slightly poor.

Get code readings and post #s to help. Tossing stuff is not only costly but might confuse the real problem. Just what does a good TPS really look like - just kidding but looks doesn't mean much unless it was melted or something, T

Check for fuel pressure, both key just to run, engine off and running. Shut off and see if it holds also. You could rule that in or out. At some point of not running properly it should throw a code. If device checking couldn't communicate it should have said that, T
