hello I have a 1997 Jeep TJ Wrangler (Sahara) 6 cyl 4.0 138,000 I just had the radiator replaced by a shop I drove home and did great got in the next morning and got in and did fine for awhile.. then the power kept getting worse and worse.. by the time I got home it could hardly make it up the driveway Yesterday I used it to haul some cement bags and as long as I was in 4 low and idled, it did fine.. went up a pretty steep hill.. but any gas throttle and it peters out.. No codes thrown yet.. starts fine, no hestitation, no vibrating, etc. But when I push and rev it, sounds like I have an air leak.. No head gasket leak, because the shop did that already because they are on the 3rd radiator replacement for my jeep and wanted to know why it the radiators kept popping leaks.. Any ideas?? I'm desperate!! thanks!

First thing I would check would be the fuel pressure. Also, if you previously had a head gasket issue, I would do a backpressure test on the exhaust system ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
