I have a 2001 jetta 1.8t, car broke down in the middle of my normal commute got it home and the scan tool I have is not the best but it works and give me a place to start. Anyway the code I get is P0221 which is the throttle position sensor, where is that, I replaced the accelerator peddle assembly about two years ago when this code came up and it worked fine after that no code now it shows the same code but when I look for the part online the part that comes up is not the peddle assembly. So did I change the wrong part then, Any info would be helpful thanks.

This is a "drive by wire" system so the TPS is incorporated into the throttle body and the whole throttle body has to be changed. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
