check fuel pressure. you did scan- yes even if cel is off.

? Dirty fuel filter had long cranking. Did it also lose power when accelerating or under load? Think changing it has fooled the issue and still exists or will come back, T

Curious, but how did you determine the filter was dirty? What test(s) did you do to isolate the filter as the culprit? Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

well i tested the pressure before and after the filter and it was bad after,

? Tested bad AFTER new fuel filter? It didn't have proper fuel pressure at the beginning. What debris came out of the filter? If it ran after even a long crank strongly suggests it flowed enough to run engine. IMO no loss in replacing a filter like that but if it cured something is was not the cause but caught the problem till clogged up again and slow start then if runs fine isn't consistent with just a filter, T
