Fix that problem before you worry about the EGR vale. It may or may not be related. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

If the other leak is caused by the intake gasket, then it's not going to matter so either fix that first or remove the intake gasket and look.
