hi guys and gals, some one help. please!!! 95 doge neon 2.0L all of a suden revvs went down,cough sputter no power can only idle. changed fuel filter and check engine light comes on,tried egnition code reader trick gave me back 12 dont know what elts to try looked for vacum leaks found one but repair didnt help anything,seems to happen after engine gets to operating temp. thanks muchly, patrick

code 12 only means you hade the battery diconected within the last 50-100 starts so thats not your problem , with the little info you have given i can only sugest you check your fuel presser first then let us know . Indy tech , http://www.flatratetech.com staff tech Indy Shop owner

hello again, here go's......changed two o2 sensors up stream and down stream...now i can at least get some where but still idles rough off and on. if i give it gas fast it will cough and stutter....but...if i baby it its ok to a point,with a lil snort here and there. changed the pcv valve and checked the EGR valve for smoth movement and seems ok.....here is the kicker my headlights are pulsing off and on like im some kind of emergency vehicle people are pulling off to the side when i come up behind them ha ha wierd car. the code im getting now is 25-51 but dont know where to go from here. please help this is starting to cost money. thanks everyone for your imput.

25 is your IAC , Idle air control, motor circuit . could be damaged or mite just need cleaning out that will explain the rough off on idle. (55 is just the end of mil display) check that you have good battery connections and check your ALT for a good charge for good voltage and amps. .....Indy Tech , http://www.flatratetech.com staff tech Indy Shop owner
