2003 Cadillac Deville With the Northstar V8 98,000 Miles The car runs and starts fine but when it warms up when you set at a stop light or in traffic in has a engine miss. when you take off it runs smooth the miss is only noticeable when stopped.

Get codes read and post the #s here and I expect you'll need to find a vacuum leak so would look around now just anyway - anything where vacuum is present and include integrity of air intake parts all of them shouldn't have any splits and all be in proper position air filter as well, T

There are no codes showing and it only is at idle with warm enegine not cold when you start and go. only after engine is at temp.

? This would even tell you it can't communicate and you say nothing shows so needs looking first as I suggested or take it to someone who can find what it's saying and find why. I said just check air intake items as if out of place, broken the metered air coming in isn't accurate may not know where but say why it's missing as best it can. It's picking on being warm suggests because it doesn't feel this when cold fuel delivery is getting incorrect info and can't fire it send wrong amounts. Air intake and vacuum leaks can do that and either would set a code, T

You'll need to look at misfire counts with an enhanced scan tool to find out which cylinder is acting up. Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.
