I have a 1997 chevy s-10 blazer (blazer) with a 4.3 vortec with 192,000 I got hung up in snow during a snowstorm i dont know if i over reved the motor I lost oil pressure, but kept coolant pressure. I been told so many things i have even thought about putting a new engine into the vehicle. I dont want to be out almost $2,000 because some shady dealer knew about the problem and didnt say anything. If anybody can point me in the right direction that would be most helpful.

You have 200K and you lost oil pressure. Things do not look good. You didn't mention engine noises and if you do have them, then you can pretty much hang it up. If the motor sounds good, I would try a new oil pressure sender just to make the the gauge is accurate. If you still have no oil pressure, bite the bullet and change the motor. You got your money's worth out of that one. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
