help setting up cylinder ridge reamer Sign In

I am currently rebuilding a 400ci engine out of a 1969 oldsmobile 442, and I can not figure out how to properly adjust the ridge reamer, it has a bolt that goes straight through the entire assembly and two screws on either side of the bolt, these are used to adjust the plate that contains the blade, also there is a screw that adjusts the cam, what confuses me the most are the three prongs that will extend when the bolt is adjusted, I am not sure if they should rest along the cylinder wall or not, I would appreciate any help given.
Thank you,

There are many types of ridge reamers; I would suggest using the make & model of the tool and see if you can find an operator’s manual on line?
