i would like too know something? when changing a intake gasket some times this is what happens i drain the coolet. before pulling the intake when i get the intake gasket done and put new oil. the bottom main bearings get wipe out. thats on a 4.3 motor and on a 3.1 or 3.4 gm motor the lifters tic real loud is the coolet these days that bad that does it. back in older motors never did that ps. please help

I belive you already posted this... or tried anyways.. If coolant was leaking into the crankcase for extended amount of time it will take out bearing. Coolant eats friction bearings.

thank you very much now what about lefters when theyare ticking nose do i replace them are they pluged up or is it the cam went bad like the bearings did

if your main bearings are bad you may not be able to build up enough oil pressure to supply your valvetrain.
