1998 plymouth voyager 3.0 failed smog test, check engine light was on came back as o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2 inactive. Decided to replace both sensors and ck engine went off. Drove for about 400 miles before restest.
First test no (ppm) read max 508 meas 427 at 15 mph, after replacing both o2 sensors retest for no (ppm) read max 508 meas 588 at 15 mph with no fault codes. What should I look for? Thanks

Not sure where your problem is. If CEL isn't lit, whatever led you to O2 sensors and they didn't come back you may either have false readings yet 400 miles should have reset or new codes requiring better readers are pending and it would fail. If machines I know of can't communicate then you get a fail,
