Mazda 1991 626 LX non turbo
123,000 miles on the car
The gas was leaking and we replace the fuel filter and holes.
It was workin fine but when we drove up a small hill the made a sound, broke down wouldn't start again. Upon lookin at the Front Pully needed to be replace along with the timing belt and ac belt.
We installed the Front pully and the car wouldnt start, the belts turned but we think the timing marks are wrong.
It start once, and would not start again.

We've tried everything we could think of. Plz help.
Thank u

jloma; Just what pulley failed? You replaced the timing belt? This is an interference engine, meaning that if the timing belt breaks at the wrong nano-second, the pistons can hit the valves that are open at the wrong time, bending them.
Recheck the timing belt alignment. It can't be off even one tooth. If okay, take a compression test. This timing belt also drives the water pump. A faulty water pump can damage the belt. Always a good idea to replace both at the same time.

I'm giving you the timing marks but there's a good chance that what your problem is, is bent valves. This is an interference engine and if the belt breaks while the engine is running or if the engine is rotated out of time, the piston will hit the valves and bend them.
What you will have to do is verify the timing marks and then do a compression test.
