No. That patch might have for a while but it's time to do a better hack or replace all that it takes to get rid of that muffler for new,

Haha...look at all those screws. You don't want exhaust leaks getting up into the passenger compartment or the muffler falling off in the middle of the road, so you should have the exhaust system repaired correctly.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

Greasyone: This looks like the transverse muffler that just has a tailpipe tip out of sight to the right. Know that muffler goes OVER to pipe to the left.

If you can bust the clamp and there's no tack weld there then either torches to cut one line on muffler neck or a rotary wheel to just cut the muffler's inlet this is a while you wait job and not that expensive for the "economy" muffler and tip + two clamps. Don't overtighten clamps and DO tilt them so the cradle doesn't hold water. Use of anitseize where it compresses on the exhaust pipe heading forward then you can do either next time more easily.

No kidding, you wouldn't be done with a soda and that would be done and bet I could make bucks for about $100 for that, more for a "Lifetime" muffler.

Just do it or have it done. It absolutely is putting exhaust fumes OUT and some back into cabin of vehicle now!
