Arggh! You'll have to start from clean to see where it's coming from - difficult under the conditions for sure.

It's unlikely for both places but the mess can travel and might be something else altogether. If you can pressure test it, it would show up easier for you to pin point.

Many rads aren't so fixable as much older stuff and if rad itself price out a replacement vs the cost of repair - might be close.

Sometimes hoses can "pin hole" squirt at an innocent item too!

I'd avoid sealers as that's only ok for real junkers or perahps a teaspoon full for a seeping gasket but can cause it more trouble later and may not work at all and certainly isn't dependable as the solution.
