Have an 02 chevy blazer with a 4.3L Vortec that won't start - replaced distributor and started great so took it for a test drive and it started sputtering and jerking. Came back and would not start. Replaced igntion coil, ignition module, crank sensor, cap and rotor and am still not getting any ignition fire out of the distributor. Any other suggestions?

Sound like the distributor is not timed correctly. These style distributors are not adjustable so when they are reinstalled the must be put back exactly the way they came out. Even if you think you got it right you may not. The truck will sometimes run but not for very long. The only way to check timing on this style ignition system is with a scan tool. And then restab the distributor if needed. Chevy says that 0 degrees with a + or - 1 degree is prefered, but I have seen them run fine with as much as 5 degrees + or -. I have also slotted the hole in the hold down bracket to make the distributor adjustable. But even if you do this you will still need a scan tool to get it right, but you may be able to make it run this way.
