I have a 1968 Cadillac Deville with 85,000 miles. A altenator was put in last summer. Put in a new battery. So drove couple of days and now wont start. Have to get jump to start it. Could it be the altenator again or could it be somethng else?

That is for you to determine. Start with having the battery charged and tested and if that comes back good, then you test the alternator or generator, whichever it has. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.
