Hi I have a 1983 Buick Skyhawk I really want to get it running and in good condition. It hasnt been used in 5 years and I need to know if its worth the money to get it going. I know Ill need to put some money into it to get it running. I just want to know if its worth it to fix up the car. Advice please :) Thanks Make: Buick Model: Skyhawk Engine Size(unsure) Mileage about 64,000

My gut reaction when I saw the year was....NO! If that is the actual mileage on the car & it's clean & fairly tight, it would be worth putting some money it to get running. Most had the 2.5 4 cyl (iron duke) in them, pretty decent motors, even the 2.8 V/6s weren't bad.... Those didn't have the million mile odometers in them so if it's 264,000 I wouldn't put more than a few hundred in a 26 year old OBD I, carburated car.
