I have a 1989 Pontiac Bonneville and recently my car has been cutting off when it wants and it would crank up right away sometimes or after 5 or more minutes. I put a new fuel pump and fuel filter in it and i have also changed the spark plugs and spark plug wires. It still will shut off but most of the time only if I accelerate to fast, as long as i accelerate slowly it will stay crunk. And when it does shut off it wont crank up right away sometimes like before. Can someone please help me and tell me what it could be?

I deleted your other question. One is sufficient. Please don't make duplicates

When it dies and won't restart you will need to do some checking. It is either lack of fuel or lack of spark. Once you know that then you can go from there to figure out why. And it is mostly all us old guys here so useing words like "crunk" will just complicate things. Good luck
