look i was having problems with it like after idleing for a while the check engine light comes on after you drive for a while it goes out the when starting the car sometimes it starts fine and some times i have to turn the key back and forth a couple of times for the starter to engage now it clicks but will not start do it several times and it just wont start could it be the selonoid not letting the starter engage or the starter itself please advise asap

Will it accept a jump start? The check engine is probably a separate issue but get the starter to work first.

Some likely areas are.... battery itself, the connection should be clean to all cables. Rule those out especially for a 17 year old car. This could easily be on its fourth battery by now, T
