1995 Land Rover Skipping

1995 Land Rover Discovery. I had a mechanic, that I can not find anymore, who repaired this car once before

Imagine that, he doesn't answer his phone now.

It was dumping raw fuel and burning up the Cat Converters.

You had a nasty misfire

He tried everything

Well yes, except diagnosing it

and I mentioned to him the car seemed to mess up every time it rained.

So you not only held out information to your mechanic that could help, it took you four months to do it? Wow. I don't know who is dumber, you or this phantom mechanic that you can't get ahold of.


He investigated that and called me back in five min and car was repaired after months of work. He said as I remember, this was over 4 years ago.


Well you were dealing with an idiot if it took months of work to pin down a simple misfire, especially one bad enough to cook a cat.





The wires leading to the control box was holding wand he said he taped it up and the car has ran fine until now. It is doing the same thing, but I can not find anyone who knows where to look for this area of wires that may be in water.

If a competent tech actually did just tape wires, he should be dragged down the road behind a car he HASN'T worked on so it will run right. Only a complete retard would do this.

Please can someone help me. I thought it would be apparent were he did this but evidently not. Thanks
