1995 mitsubishi mirage breking flexplates ?

1995 mitsubishi mirage breking flexplates ? Sign In

Just taking a chance that someone out there has seen this problem. My 95 Mitsubishi mirage 1.5 liter has broken two flexplates after an engine swap. I cant figure out what is causing this. Any info would be appreciated .

I would expect that is a mismatch between the flex plate, the converter and the trans axle and there must be constant pressure on the flex plate for that too happen.

Also the mounting surface must be absolutly flat and clean the mounting bolts must be all same and torqued to mfg specs WITH a torque wrench.
