Hello everyone! I have a 1996 Dodge Caravan SE V6 3.0L and has 182151 Miles. Here is the problem with it, When you try to start it no, It is as if the starter does not engage and does not crank the engine. But if you do it one or two more times, She will crank over and start the engine. This happens no matter what. Also, I noticed the previous owner had the horn removed from the steering wheel and mounted onto the column. Im mentioning this because it may be relevant. Not sure... Now after it has started, It idles and runs fine. After you drive it around for some time it still is fine. When you go for WOT, It acts as if you never did. The speedo just climbs steadily. Once you reach about 30-40 mph, The engine will tend to stall. Try to crank it again and it is way harder after it has done this. Try 5-10 times and you get lucky around there. Otherwise, It wont work and even if you do get it crank and try to go again, It will stall again with or without WOT. I noticed this happens when I go for WOT. It does it often. But if my speed stays low, I can go for WOT and it won't do that and I drove it around in my yard for a few minutes and nothing happened. No I couldn't get up to 30-40 mph in order to test that out and yes it was engine temp at the time. I have no check engine light on and rented the scanner just in case and I got no codes from it. It just said pass....Also, I tried to check the fuel pressure but the manual says it won't work with this engine and when I looked for the port to check it, I couldn't find one anywhere. It looks to have a new starter and new fuel filter but I don't know whats going on here. Any help would be appreciated. If you need any more info let me know, Im gonna try to get a video to show better as to what is going but not sure if I can do the stalling out issue...
