Re: 1996 GEO TRACKER IGNITION FAILURE Sign In

There are so many variables as to what might be happening, who knows what’s causing this?
You say ignition problem and then tell us you removed the converter? The converter doesn’t have anything to do with the ignition system.
We need more information from you, too even begin guessing, what might be wrong with your vehicle.
Sorry.

Dan.

THE CATALYTIC HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH IGNITION, JUST MAKES IT EASIER FOR THE CAR TO BREATH OXIGEN, WITHOUT "BACK PRESSURE"
THE REST IS A MULITUDE OF SENSORS THAT CONTROL THE IGNITION PROCESS, SUCH AS:
CAM POSITION SENSOR, CRANK POSITION SENSOR, OXIGEN SENSOR, THROTLE POSITION SENSOR, OR SOME OTHER SENSOR THAT FAILS TO SEND THE SPARK SIGNAL.
WHAT A MESS.................
