Does anyone know if this is related to the front wheel bearings? Right or left side? or both? Sounds like it is coming from the left side of the Jeep...what do u think?

Wheel bearings would usually give a growling sound or feeling. I wouldn't describe it as a buzzing noise. They tend to be sensitive steering more than acceleration. If worried about that get it checked. If you feel safe I bet this noise is a problem with the air cleaner assembly but it's only a guess as about anything is without actually witnessing it, Give it a look for it's integrity and any splits that may act like a reed valve with air speed, T

I might be able to describe the sound a little better and maybe you can help me...You know when you get new tires, and you get that feeling of the new tires on the road? thats what it sounds like...still think it may be the air cleaner assembly? and where is that located? Thanks.

The air cleaner assembly as I called it is everything to do with the air intake including the air filter. Some snorkel way away from the actual engine intake of air. The days of one wing nut is history. The air comes in thru lots of stuff now to maximise performance and reduce dirt to air filter if possible but they can have lots of duct work. Many even sense atmopheric pressure to inform the vehicle's computer as to what to do as far as fuel and timing etc. are concerned. This Jeep may be simpler than I said but still it takes in air and does it faster upon accelleration. It also exhausts and that could be the noise. Less likely but it happens. Noises are funny and are hard to describe and locating them can be hard. ________________________________________________ Of interest: I spent hours with a limosine company car that made a buzz/whistle noise at a certain speed so obnoxious they almost couldn't use the car for customers! Found that one and it was an Asian windshield replacement that didn't fit well and made the noise. This on an American car.!! I don't have a problem with that but it didn't fit!! Hey, that was air speed NOT throttle but what a pill to figure out, T
