Hi,

I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee, inline v6, I have done a very complete overhaul of engine including, coil, new "brain" ,wires, plugs and so on.

The problem is driving down the road at speed it simply dies, sometimes it sputters as if out of gas and then continues sometimes quits completely and takes a few tries to get started again, I have noticed when I put more than 1/2 tank of gas in it seems to do this more, I have replaced the fuel filter. I am hoping that this is not the Fuel Pump Assembly as this is very expensive and you have to drop the entire fuel tank. My question is do you think replacing the fuel relay switch may help?

The relay will only help if its bad. You'll be wasting money to just throw parts at it. You need to check fuel pressure and spark while the engine will not start to find out what is missing.
