1996 Mercury Odometer won't work

I still can't get my 1996 Mercury odometer, and speedometer to work despite changing the speed sensor, and cluster. I return the sensor, and the check engline light has gone off with the junk yard cluster.
Where do the odometer wires connect.
What else can I check to get it working again.
