1998 Kia no spark/nofuel Sign In

Hello, I am new to this forum, I am at my end and would appreciate any help or direction given. Anyway I have a 1998 Kia Sportage with 107k on it. When I got it, it wouldnt start and I tracked it to the ignition switch, which I replaced and it ran fine., That is until I pulled it out of the garage and it stalled. It started 3 more times and would stall everytime I put it in gear. Finally on the 4th try, it would not start. I replaced both the main and fuel pump relays. I am getting no spark and no fuel. It cranks fine. There is no power at the fuel pump fuse inside the car. If you jump the relay, you can hear the pump run, but that does me no good because I don't have any spark either. Right before I got the car, the heater core was replaced as was the valve cover gasket. I checked all the plugs near those areas, including the ones (C123-C124), that were in the recall and they are all connected, I unplugged and plugged them back in and checked the connections. I am new to Kia's, but If the timing belt slips would that cause it to have no spark or fuel?, that's the only thing I didn't check was the timing (except that the belt is on). I there any other common problems on these cars that would cause this?
