I was driving my truck yesterday and I noticed that it was shaking constantly. I drove it about 2 blocks and turned around I got back home and noticed a funny smell coming from it. I checked fluid levels and I had NO oil at all. (this has never happened to me ever) So i went back to the store and got 3 quarts of oil and added it. waited for about 2 hours and drove it down the road and it was still doing the same thing as before. But the check engine light was flashing on and off. I haven't driven it since. My husband knows some about cars but he said that he had no idea what it might be. Whatever it is and it cost more to get it fixed then I am getting rid of it. If you have the codes read, they will indicate which cylinder has the problem and you can check it out. I think that the same thing happened to me in the spring time of this year and my husband replaced 3 of them because he wasn't able get to the others and it stopped shaking in all. I have someone to replace all of them now, but you think that replacing all of those would take care of the problem. please respond.
