About a week ago I had my 1999 Cadillac Escalade in the shop to have the two front wheel bearings replaced and have an alignment done. Two days later the ABS light randomly came on, there is only 25 miles on the car since it left the shop, it’s not like I drove it across the country. Is it possible that during the repairs something happened to tweak the ABS sensor? Or during repairs is it possible that the ABS Controller itself was compromised? I am thinking about taking the car back to the same shop and confronting them about it. What do you think?

Hmmm - Two days later? Yes the bearings are involved with the ABS. If blinking now I think it will just stay on soon meaning you have regular braking action but it wont go into ABS mode. Since you just had this done just go right back and have them check connections AND do a code reading for the ABS. It's possible one or both of the bearings are not compatible or defective in the ABS part. Bearing should be safe but they should take care of that since it just happened. It's also possible that it's not involved in the bearing job at all. Trust is everything with this, T
